    Description: The invention relates to a rifle stock according to the preamble of claim 1. The invention also relates to a rifle with such a rifle stock.
    From DE 8 800 488 U1 a rifle with a rifle stock also known as a stock stock is known, which contains a pistol grip and a thumb hole with upper and lower webs. With such a perforated shaft, a relaxed and even attack can be achieved and thereby the shooting performance can be improved. However, the problem can arise in particular with the perforated shafts made of wood that the stability of the shaft is impaired by the grip hole.
    The object of the invention is to provide a rifle stock and a rifle with such a rifle stock, which enables improved stability of the rifle stock.
    This object is achieved by a rifle stock with the features of claim 1 and by a rifle with the features of claim 11. Appropriate developments and advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
    In the rifle stock according to the invention at least one reinforcing element is provided in the upper web arranged above the thumb hole and / or in the lower web arranged below the thumb hole. The web can be stiffened by the reinforcement element and thus an area of the rifle stock that is particularly susceptible to breakage can be reinforced. This can significantly reduce the risk of shaft breaks.
    In a particularly expedient embodiment, a first reinforcing element can be arranged only in the upper web and an additional second reinforcing element can be arranged in the pistol grip. This enables the rifle stock to be optimally reinforced or stiffened. If necessary, a third reinforcing element can also be attached in the lower web.
    The e.g. pin-shaped reinforcing elements can expediently be inserted into corresponding bores or holes in the rifle stock and preferably glued to the rifle stock.
    In an advantageous embodiment, the hole for the first reinforcing element can be designed as a blind hole and run essentially in the longitudinal direction of the rifle stock from a rear end face of a recess provided for receiving the system box through the upper web. The hole for the second reinforcing element, however, can be designed as a through hole and extend from a lower surface of the recess to a recess on the underside of the pistol grip.
    In a further expedient embodiment, a connecting piece for connection to a system box arranged in the rifle stock can be arranged on the first reinforcing element. A rigid unit consisting of a rifle stock, system case and reinforcing element can be created via the connecting piece and thus increased stability can be achieved. The connector can e.g. be designed as a fitting for positive engagement in a corresponding counterpart of the system box. In an expedient embodiment, the connecting piece can e.g. have a T-shaped cross section and be designed for positive engagement in a receptacle designed as a T-slot on the system box. The connector can e.g. when inserting the system box into the rifle stock, engage in the associated mounting groove and can also be attached with adhesive if necessary. However, the reinforcement element running through the pistol grip does not have to be connected to the system box, but can only be glued to the rifle stock.
    The invention also relates to a rifle with a rifle stock described above and a system box which is inserted into the rifle stock. The system box expediently has a receptacle for a positive connection to the reinforcing element arranged in the upper web.
    Further special features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description of a preferred embodiment with reference to the drawing. It shows:

    CH 710 854 B1 ses shown in a plan view and a sectional view. The rifle stock 1 is designed as a stock stock with a pistol grip 3 and a thumb hole 4 recognizable in FIG. 2.
    From Fig. 2 it can be seen that the rifle stock 1 contains a relatively slender upper web 5 above the thumb hole 4 formed as an oblique oval and a likewise slender lower web 6 below the thumb hole 4. In the upper web 5 of the rifle stock 1 there is a first reinforcing element 7 which is designed here in the form of a pin. A second, pin-shaped reinforcing element 8 is provided in the pistol grip 3 in front of the thumb hole 4. The two e.g. Reinforcement elements 7 and 8 made of aluminum or steel are inserted into corresponding bores or holes 9 and 10 in the rifle stock 1 and are preferably glued to the rifle stock 1. The hole 9 provided for the first reinforcement element 7 is designed as a blind hole and runs essentially in the longitudinal direction of the rifle stock 1 from a rear end face 11 of a recess 12 designed for receiving the system case 2 through the upper web 5. The hole provided for the reinforcement element 8 10, on the other hand, is designed as a through hole and extends at right angles to the hole 9 from a lower surface 13 of the recess 12 to a recess 14 on the underside of the pistol grip 3. A cover 15 is inserted into the recess 14 on the underside of the pistol grip.
    3 and 4, a connector 16 for connection to the system box 2 is arranged on the rifle stock 1 projecting from the rifle stock 1, seen in the firing direction, of the first reinforcing element 9 shown there. The connecting piece 16 has a T-shaped cross section and is designed for positive engagement in a receptacle 17 shown in FIG. 5 and here embodied as a T-slot at the rear end of the system box 2 as seen in the weft direction. In the embodiment shown, the connecting piece 16 is designed as a separate part which is firmly connected to the pin-shaped reinforcing element 7 via an adhesive connection, a thread or some other connection. The connector 16 can also be made in one piece with the reinforcing element 7.
    The system box 2 shown in FIG. 6 in perspective contains a front support area 18 and a rear guide area 19 with upwardly projecting guide webs 20 and inner guide grooves 21, in which a closure (not shown here) with a locking chamber can be displaced in a manner known per se is led. The front support area 4 contains an upper support surface 22 for the rear part of a barrel, also not shown, which is fastened to the system box 2 via bores 23. The system box 2 contains a magazine shaft 24 which can be seen in FIG. 5 and into which a magazine provided with a trigger unit can be inserted from below.
